DYNEX Technologies + PROGEN

You surely know me for crafting polished still imagery for brands and commercial clients, but you might be surprised to learn that I bring the same precision, narrative, and compelling visual impact to motion; like this recent promotional video I produced for DYNEX Technologies, showcasing their medical laboratory testing equipment and announcing a new industry partnership.

DYNEX has trusted me to capture stills for their marketing and leadership for years, so when they approached me to film this promotional spot, I was excited to be entrusted with the creative freedom to bring their script to life.

After the usual planning and scouting, all shots were completed in one full day of filming, including all scripted imagery along with B-roll vital to tying all shots together.  Post-production was carried out in collaborative stages, and was completed in time for DYNEX to exhibit the promo alongside live product demos at tradeshows to begin the year announcing their new partnership with PROGEN.  This project also provided the pleasure of once again working with a voice actor in addition to the on-screen talent.

Videography is a creative and technical skill I love being able to exercise in visualizing my perspective and share it with the World.  2025 was my most videography focused year in recent history; looking forward to the next vivid video project!

Joel & Danie: Engaged December 25th, 2023

This Fall, just before the leaves were being blown from their branches, Joel and Danie took in the colors along the Potomac River together to commemorate their engagement.  Although they have been engaged for just shy of two years now, like so many people in the pandemic era, establishing wedding plans is now trickier and necessitates planning further out; a lasting effect in our new post-pandemic normal — Joel and Danie will be wed this coming Spring!

While planning their engagement session, the two poked fun at each other if they would wear their respective uniforms for the shoot - both are “airport people,” like myself, and paused several times during our shoot to see which flight was overhead.  Once again, aviation has a way of bringing people together.  The afternoon wrapped up with a leaf fight - no leaf piles were on hand to jump into.

Stay tuned this Spring for Joel and Danie’s wedding, after the snow melts and the flowers begin to emerge in Arlington!

2008 Hummer H2

Winter isn’t generally the most friendly time of year to photograph your vehicle, but snow makes things pretty as long as you can keep it off your paint!

This excellent condition Hummer in the final year of the H2’s production run is going up for sale soon, and I captured an exhaustive set of photos for its sale on auction platforms like Bring A Trailer.  It’s been a very long time since I was last in a Hummer, and capturing this example reminded me of why people love them so much - very comfy in any seat, and spacious with room for all your stuff to spare.

Kaiser Permanente • We Don’t Have Time: Connecting Climate Change and Health

On June 7th, 2023, Kaiser Permanente, partnered with We Don’t Have Time, launched the Connecting Climate Change and Health series.  The event aimed to spotlight crucial themes like air quality, extreme weather, and their effects on individual and community health, including health equity.  Special guests from prominent organizations participated, discussing the integration of health and health equity into climate action planning for national business leaders across various industries.
